Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Doughble, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not access the Service.

2. Service Description

Doughble is a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) sourdough baking companion offered by Doughble (“we,” “us”). It provides guided bake workflows, session tracking, environmental data capture, an AI coach, recipe and process templates, and related digital tools. All features are delivered digitally via web access upon successful registration (and payment, for paid tiers).

3. Account Access

Once registered (and, for Pro or Pro Max, after Stripe confirms payment), access to the Service is immediate. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use the Service. One account per person. Access to the Service constitutes delivery of the product.

4. Subscription & Billing

Free is forever. Paid plans (Pro at $10.99/mo or $119/yr; Pro Max at $14.99/mo or $159/yr) are billed by Stripe on a recurring basis at the cadence you select at signup. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. Fees are exclusive of taxes.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations apply to the next billing cycle. You will retain access to paid features through the end of your current paid period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier (your data is preserved). We do not prorate refunds for unused time or inactivity.

6. Refund Policy

Payments are generally non-refundable, including for unused accounts, forgotten cancellations, or user inactivity. If you believe you have been billed in error, email {CONTACT_EMAIL} and we will review case by case.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the AI coach to generate content that is unsafe, harassing, infringing, or otherwise violates applicable law.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the bake data, recipes, photos, notes, and chat messages you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content as needed to operate the Service for you. We will not sell Your Content.

9. AI-Generated Content

The AI coach produces suggestions from a language model and your bake history. Its output may be incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent. Treat AI responses as guidance, not professional advice. You are responsible for your own baking outcomes and for any decisions you make based on AI output.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including our name, logo, UI, and code, is owned by Doughble and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
